Fanola Color Professional Colouring Cream is a permanent oxidation hair colour made for professional hairdressers. Enriched with Ginkgo Biloba, it gives precise, reliable and long-lasting colour results while respecting the scalp and hair, with 100% grey coverage and exceptional brightness. The range runs to 120 intermixable shades, from naturals and ashes to the super-lightening series, so every client's colour can be matched or created.

How will Fanola Color look on your client's hair?
With no lift, a shade deposits at the depth of the hair underneath. On darker bases it reads deeper; on lighter bases it sits at its own level and the tone shows more intensely. The same shade on four natural bases:

How to Use
- Skin test 48 hours before every colour service.
- Mix the colour with Fanola developer at 1:1.5 for permanent colour (see the table below for other techniques).
- Apply the mixture to dry hair.
- Develop for 25–45 minutes for permanent colour.
- Rinse thoroughly, then shampoo and condition.
Salon tip: for resistant grey, use 20 vol.

Which developer should I use with Fanola Color?
Fanola's own oxidising emulsion (developer), at the strength your technique needs: 10–40 vol mixed 1:1.5 for permanent colour, 40 vol at 1:2 for the Highlifts, 5 vol at 1:1.5 for tone on tone, and 3.5 or 5 vol at 1:3 for a colour bath. For resistant grey, use 20 vol.
How do you use Fanola hair colour?
Skin test 48 hours before. Mix 1:1.5 with Fanola developer, apply to dry hair and develop for 25–45 minutes, then rinse thoroughly and shampoo and condition.
Is Fanola Color good for your hair?
It is enriched with Ginkgo Biloba, which leaves hair soft, silky and shiny, with a soothing and protective effect on the scalp. As with any permanent colour, skin test 48 hours before every service.
How do Fanola Color shade numbers work?
The number before the point is the depth, from 1 Black to 12 Superlight Blonde Platinum Extra. The number after it is the tone: .0 natural, .1 ash, .2 violet, .3 golden, .4 copper, .5 mahogany and .6 red. A doubled tone is more intense, so 6.66 is Dark Blonde Intense Red and .00 is an intense natural.
Does Fanola Color cover grey hair?
Yes. As a permanent colour it covers 100% of white hair. Tone on tone covers 70%.
Is Fanola Color for professional use only?
Yes. It is a professional colour reserved for hairdressers.

Yes. Every shade in the range is intermixable, so you can create custom colour nuances.

Standard Delivery is free on orders over £100 (ex VAT). For surcharged postcodes, delivery is free on orders over £250.
Our warehouse operates Monday–Friday. Orders placed before 1PM will be dispatched same day for next working day delivery. Saturday delivery options are possible to most locations. There is a small charge for Saturday delivery.
Returns
You can return unopened products for a refund within 60 days of receiving your order — log in and use Return my order in My Account for a free Royal Mail return label. Electrical goods and hygiene products are ineligible for returns, unless faulty/damaged.
